Through cross-company collaboration, Groz-Beckert KG – together with partners neoapps and DSC Software AG – has successfully closed the process gap between quality assurance and engineering. At the same time, key workflows were digitized, reducing manual efforts and minimizing potential errors. This has led to greater efficiency, improved traceability, and optimized processes in both manufacturing and quality assurance.
Groz-Beckert KG is the world’s leading provider of industrial machine needles, precision parts, and fine tools, as well as systems and services for the production and joining of textile fabrics. The specialized machinery and tools required for our products are manufactured by our in-house engineering department. The high quality standards of our end products therefore begin with the manufacturing of individual machine components. Various inspection documents are required for quality assurance – including ballooned inspection drawings. As part of this project, the previously manual creation process was to be replaced by an innovative, automated workflow to save time while simultaneously increasing the quality and reliability of the inspection drawings.
