The foundation is formed by the professional basics of operating system installation, configuration and network setup. The expert knowledge about the installation, configuration and tuning of the Siemens NX software is based on this. The seminar is rounded off by modules on plotter and printer installation as well as professional data backup concepts. Knowledge of the operating system and NX is required.

You will learn how to use tools such as editor, compiler, linker and IDE with MS Visual Studio as well as programming techniques and basics such as sequences, repetitions, classes and methods. We would also be happy to show you how to professionally use version control systems such as CVS, SVN or MS Visual Source Save. This training often has a workshop character and the content is determined by you, regardless of whether you want to know more about VB.NET in combination with Excel or Knowledge Fusion in use with UDFs. Together we develop example programs that are based on your problems. After this training, your employees will be able to independently create programs for Siemens NX.

This course introduces you to sheet metal processing in Siemens NX and is ideal for becoming familiar with the possibilities of sheet metal processing in Siemens NX Sheet Metal (Siemens NX Sheet Metal). We will show you how to create parametric sheet metal models and sheet metal developments as well as production-friendly drawings. You will then know everything you need to create sheet metal models in Siemens NX yourself and will be able to apply this knowledge to your specific requirements.

This course provides an introduction into Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) in Siemens NX. We will show you how to create and structure dimensions, surface finish or other manufacturing information as PMI in NX and how to ensure the “consumability” of the PMI for downastream processes. We will also go into the basic philosophy of Model-Based Definition (MBD) in the NX context and show you how to optimally master the transition into a drawingless engineering approach.

This course introduces you step by step to how to work with the MBD logic editor from Siemens NX. We will show you how to design and create MBD rules in a structured manner in order to generate consumable PMI for downstream processes. The training begins with simple examples that are built from the ground up together with the course participants. To further your knowledge, you will also gain insight into very complex MBD rules. At the end of the course you will be able to independently create MDB rules using the logic editor.
