With advent of model-based definition, the role of 2D drawings – for the specification of manufacturing information – is becoming more irrevevant. Production and quality control increasingly rely on the “model-based” definition of manufacturing and quality information. Suppliers are also increasingly familiar with the MBD concept, which is why nothing stands in the way of exchanging 3D models with internal and external interest groups.

On the one hand, this changes the requirements for the creation of initial sample test reports. On the other hand, it also opens up new possibilities with regard to the automation of the overall process. The increasing standardization of design through model-based definition opens up previously unknown automation possibilities. This and more is the subject of this webinar.
